The PGME program is designed to educate and train residents and fellows, with a focus on transformative education to shape them into proficient professionals and catalysts for positive change in their respective fields. Accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), these meticulously structured programs prioritize holistic growth. The PGME Department rigorously evaluates both supervisors and trainees to maintain the highest standards in teaching methods.

The mission and vision of the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) program are fully aligned with the overarching mission and vision of the Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN).

The postgraduate training programs should aim to train and educate residents and fellows with emphasis on transformative education so as to produce not just experts in their field but agents of change. To make their training relevant and contextual with strong emphasis on research, management, social responsibility and leadership skills.  Trainees should recognize and practice value based patient care. Subject expertise, comprehensive skill, compassion and empathy should be their hall mark

The residency programs shall ensure compliance with PMDC and CPSP regulations and provide equal opportunity to everyone in admission, training, assessment process. There will be no discrimination on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity, disability (according to the needs of training), marital status, or socioeconomic background.
