Program Overview
This six-month online course provides a comprehensive and structured approach to palliative care, focusing on improving the quality of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses. The program is designed to offer healthcare professionals the knowledge and skills needed to provide holistic care that addresses patients’ and their families’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
The course fosters a deep understanding of the principles and practices of palliative care, incorporating both theoretical learning and practical applications, with case studies, and discussion forums promoting collaboration and peer learning.
This postgraduate certificate course will contribute to and enhance the abilities of Health care professionals to lead and drive clinically effective care for patients with advanced disease.

This 26-week online program offers flexibility for working professionals and fosters a deep understanding of palliative care principles, preparing them to deliver holistic, dignified end-of-life care.

- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (such as Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, or Social Work) from a recognized institution.
- Active professional licensure (e.g., medical, nursing, or allied health license) where applicable

- Doctors: Physicians from all specialties, especially those working in oncology, geriatrics, family medicine, or internal medicine.
- Nurses: Registered nurses or advanced practice nurses involved in direct patient care, particularly in palliative care, hospice, or chronic illness management.
- Allied Health Professionals: Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, pharmacists, and other professionals who contribute to patient care teams.
