Karachi: The Indus College of Nursing & Midwifery (ICONM) celebrated student research and academic excellence by hosting a Research Poster Presentation and SMASH Magazine Launch on 14 July 2026. Organized by the BSN Semester VIII students under the supervision of Ms. Uzma Paiam, the event provided a platform for aspiring nursing professionals to showcase their research achievements, critical thinking, and commitment to evidence-based practice.

The program was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Saima, Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC); Dr. Shafaq, Head of the Department of Health Professions Education (HPE); Dr. Madiha, Medical Educationist; and Dr. Farrukh, Principal of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. Their presence added great value to the event and inspired the students through their insightful remarks and professional guidance.

During the poster presentation, students confidently presented their research projects, demonstrating their understanding of research methodology and its application in nursing practice. The guests interacted with the presenters, shared constructive feedback, and discussed various technical aspects of research, enabling students to enhance their knowledge and presentation skills.
