
Indus Faculty Present at INHWE Online Conference on Health Workforce Education
Medical Educationists from Indus University of Health Sciences showcased their educational scholarship at the International Network for Health Workforce Education (INHWE) Online Conference, a global forum that brings together educators, researchers, and policymakers committed to advancing health workforce education. The conference provides a platform for sharing innovations, research, and best practices in health professions education across diverse contexts.
Dr. Madiha Ata, presented “Teaching to Think: The Reality of Teaching Diagnostic Reasoning and Critical Thinking in an LMIC.” Her presentation explored the practical challenges and opportunities of developing diagnostic reasoning and critical thinking skills in resource-constrained educational settings, highlighting the need for policy and educational reforms to prepare future-ready health professionals.
Dr. Junaid Sheikh, presented “Digital Health and AI in Health Professions Education.” His session examined the growing role of digital health technologies and artificial intelligence in health care and the need to adapt them in health professions education, particularly in LMICs like Pakistan.
